Sustaining Our Holy Ground Grace and peace! We are grateful to be part of this community of faith through which we all are continually called to share the radically inclusive love of Jesus Christ. As many of you know, our church’s forty-year-old heating system is worn out and must be replaced. In keeping with our commitment to be faithful stewards of God’s creation, the congregation voted to replace the old boiler with a more efficient, earth-friendly geothermal heating system. This project needs to be completed before this winter to ensure our building is adequately heated over the winter months. On April 10, the congregation approved a plan to conduct a capital campaign to raise the funds necessary to complete this project. Those who came before us in the more than 100 years of Euclid’s history have given us this holy ground—this land and building— that provides us with shelter and a church home. It is now time for us to continue the work of Sustaining Our Holy Ground for ourselves, for future generations, and for all those with whom we share this place. We invite you to take part in this important moment in our church history in these ways:
If you would prefer a personal visit or information packet, please call the church office at 708-848-7360, or contact any member of the capital campaign team. The campaign leadership team thanks all of you for your steadfast love and commitment to our church family here at Euclid and looks forward to working with you in Sustaining Our Holy Ground. Grace and Peace, Doug Dixon and Sally Stovall, Campaign Chairs Discovering, living, sharing, and celebrating the inclusive Gospel of Jesus Christ.
